For a standalone task, set the recurrence frequency, interval, and end date when applicable. If a task belongs to a project, its form disables independent recurrence; manage repetition from the project instead. When creating a recurring project, set the frequency, interval, end condition, and what to do if the previous period is still open.
Then review the schedule. “Pause” can be reversed; “Stop recurrence” is permanent and preserves prior work. Check upcoming occurrences; configuring a series does not prove they have been generated.
