Schedule an appointment and verify its time
Link the appointment to the correct client or lead and confirm the time zone.
Pending workflow validation
This guide has been checked against the application code. Its workflow still needs validation in an isolated test account.
What you will achieve
Save an appointment with verifiable association and schedule.
Before you start
- Activities create permission for new appointments or edit for changes.
- An active client or valid lead, active assigned member, and meeting details.
Steps
1. Select the actual record
In Appointments, open creation and choose Customer or Lead. Search with at least three characters and select a result; typing a name is not enough. Check the contact and company association separately.
2. Complete meeting details
Enter title, date, time, duration, and assigned member. Choose meeting type and supply the relevant link or location.
3. Check the time zone
Review the agency time zone shown in the form and confirm the schedule in that zone. If settings changed, reload and review before saving.
4. Save and verify
Save and open the complete record. Check client or lead, contact, and schedule. Reschedule through schedule editing and verify the result; a completed appointment can be corrected with edit permission and stays completed.
Expected result
A linked appointment with a saved schedule. This does not prove an invitation was delivered or complete follow-up tasks.
Questions about this process
The time is invalid or overlaps
Check past dates, daylight-saving changes, and conflicts with events or availability buffers. Correct the indicated value.
Saving is blocked
Check active client and member, correct contact, permissions, and valid URL. If the record changed while editing, reload and confirm before retrying.
